Tuesday write: What is good writing?

Good writing helps a reader imagine what is happening in the story. Good writing uses good vocabulary, good sentence structure and imagery to describe what is going on. In order for the writer to keep the reader's attention, the writer must include interesting facts. The way that the writer describes the characters and setting of a story, can also capture a reader's imagination. If the reader understands the message and the story and the words flow on the page, then that is considered good writing.

Hi I'm Evelina.  I'm 15 years old and I'm from Lithuania.  I like to listen to music, hang out with friends and play tennis.  My favorite movie is 42, and my favorite book is Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys.  My writing goal for the year is to be more confident about my writing and to write better essays.  A favorite quote are the lyrics from the song Count on Me by Bruno Mars:
