Tuesday write: What is good writing?

Good writing helps a reader imagine what is happening in the story. Good writing uses good vocabulary, good sentence structure and imagery to describe what is going on. In order for the writer to keep the reader's attention, the writer must include interesting facts. The way that the writer describes the characters and setting of a story, can also capture a reader's imagination. If the reader understands the message and the story and the words flow on the page, then that is considered good writing.
